Frederick didn't know whether his words had finally gotten through to her, or whether she'd just run out of steam. Alicia slowly raised her head and her eyes fell on the dustbin that had made her explode, which Frederick was also looking at.

The trash can had no lid. Even though it wasn't that near, she could still see the used tissues and condom if she just stuck her head out a little.

Something wasn't quite right.

The trash cans at home all had lids. Before having sex, he would remove the lid first. After that, he would pack up the trash bag before cleaning himself up.

She hadn't paid much attention to it, but it had left an impression on her.

Tears still hung on her long lashes. Alicia sniffled and kept silent.

Seeing that she had calmed down, he believed that with her smartness, she could also figure it out. Frederick hadn't expected that the condoms that he had only recently brought would be used to mislead them.
