Mrs. Blanchard smiled as she nodded her head.

"They've been very thoughtful, and helped out whenever I needed an extra hand! Your dad has difficulty moving around and he feels uncomfortable having body contact with others, anyway! We could tell that Frederick is really sincere. The people he sent over are all very honest. They hadn't done anything suspicious and they're almost the same age as me! After they've both agreed on the plan, only then did Alicia go back, her head feeling muddled.

She tried to gather her thoughts. That person wanted Soaver International's project proposal, and gave her seven days as a time limit. That would mean that her dad was at least safe for the next seven days. In the meantime, she had to find a proper solution for this.

She was not in the mood to cook, hence she ordered some takeaways instead.

Frederick sensed she was not herself while they ate. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Did something happen? Why do you look so down?"
