As Victoria walked towards the door, Trevor hugged her once again and muttered, "Vicky..."

She immediately turned around and shoved him away. "Don't touch me! Don't touch me!" Victoria fumed.

The constant ringing of his phone did not lighten their bad mood either. Trevor had no idea why Selena persisted with her calls even though he had previously informed her that today would be his wedding day.

Noticing the stuffed bunny that was squashed against his chest, Trevor instantly declined the call as he held Victoria in his arms. "Don't do this, don't do this! It's my fault! I won't answer the call, alright?"

Flustered on the spot, Trevor leaned in and wrapped his arms around her as he held her tightly in his warm embrace. "Today is our special day! Please don't be so petty and upset simply because of such a small matter, alright?"

He shouldn't have criticized her! In that instant, Victoria was immediately ticked off by the words that left his mouth. She poked his chest and shouted,

"I am that petty! I am upset! You obviously know that it's our special day, so why are you still acting like this? Don't give me that cousin nonsense! How is she related to me at all? Trevor, I've already been more than considerate towards you! Even if this is just a show, you are the one who fail to act!"

Victoria flung her hands up before she fretfully scratched her hair and said,

"We have so many relatives and friends over today, so I'm not going to quarrel with you for now. I'm being thoughtful for the sake of both our parents and elders. I don't care who she is, and I'm just a selfish brat. Don't think for a second that I will let myself get hurt for any other woman! I am not that selfless! Besides, you have destroyed the once virtuous Victoria. Right now, the person in front of you is merely a selfish and unreasonable woman. You'd better not forget our premarital agreement. If you ever cross the line, I will never give up my rights!"

Victoria pushed him backwards forcefully as she couldn't suppress the anger in her heart any longer. She utterly despised people like him. Trevor couldn't even hold on to his promise, yet he still wanted Victoria to be his! Why couldn't he just go to hell? She thought to herself.

Victoria stomped her foot and brushed her hair back. As soon as she turned around, Trevor once again pulled her into his arms and said, "Is that all?"

As he stared at her sullen face, Trevor's cheek was tinged with an endless smile. He had never met a woman who dared to speak to him that way.

He admired her limit, waywardness, and honesty!

As he leaned closer to her ears, Trevor was drawn in by her delicate pale neck and lively behavior.

"I never said I'd let you get hurt! Most importantly, you're my lawfully wedded wife. If there's something bothering you, you could just tell me about it. In fact, you could even vent it to me! However, you shouldn't push me aside!"

He pulled Victoria towards him as the determination in his eyes grew stronger. Although their marrige was arranged on the spur of the moment, Trevor was actually committed towards the marriage!

He wasn't certain whether it was the fact that he was older or that he had more experience that made him behave differently. At that moment, Trevor was far more eager to be married and to start a family of his own than he ever was before. He had genuine feelings for the petite, fiery, short-tempered, but beautiful woman who stood in front of him. Right then, he caressed Victoria's cheeks with his rough fingers. All of a sudden, Trevor felt a sense of warm satisfaction in his heart as he admired the endearing lady who seemed to admit her mistake but was stubborn and unyielding.

He simply wanted to live a normal life!

As he stroked her sideburns, a sudden thought flashed across his mind. Once again, Trevor lifted Victoria's chin and planted a deep and lingering kiss on her lips. Likewise, he also held onto her wrist as she struggled to escape his clutches.

The intense kiss lasted for a very long time...
