As soon as he confirmed that it was her car, Trevor rushed into the hospital.

"Hi, did you happen to see a beautiful young lady? She's wearing a beige knitted sweater and jeans," He asked the nurse on duty.

As he gesticulated and described Victoria, Trevor thought of something. He took out his mobile phone to show her a photo of Victoria. Before he could, the nurse spoke.

"Oh, you're looking for Miss Atlas! She's on the twelfth floor in the inpatient department. She's with her boyfriend right now. You can go up and ask around!"

After she finished speaking, the nurse walked away in a hurry with the documents in hand. She couldn't help but look back at him twice, just to find him looking as if he had been struck by something. Trevor's mind buzzed for quite a while.

What? Boy... boyfriend?

Frustrated and confused, Trevor then rushed up to the twelfth floor. As he walked to the other side of the elevator, he suddenly heard a familiar female voice.

"Seven, you're looking to die, aren't you?" The voice sounded.

Then, a young but unfamiliar male voice replied, "Darling, please don't act like this."

Trevor strode over quickly. As soon as he entered the room, he saw Victoria standing by the bedside with an empty bowl in her hand. A young man on the bed was holding her hand.

"Stay the night..." the young man said.

When he heard that, Trevor immediately lit up in rage. He walked over angrily and pulled Victoria aside before he punched the young man.

"Ouch!" The young man shouted.

With a cry, the man rolled to the other side of the bed. He yelled again in agony, "Who are you? Where did this madman come from?"

He was hanging off the edge of the bed and was about to tip over and hit his head on the ground. Victoria was momentarily stunned at what had happened.

"Darling, quick..." The man instinctively called out to Victoria as he pulled himself to a stand. His words sent Trevor into a fit of fury yet again.

"Call her that one more time!" Trevor threatened.

Trevor walked past the bed and raised his foot to kick the young man, who then rolled over and almost rolled himself under the bed. At that moment, Victoria came to her senses and rushed over to embrace Trevor.

"What are you doing? Stop! Alaric broke his arm!" Victoria cried.

As she was trying to hold him back, Trevor's face instantly darkened. "You're still protecting him?" He asked in disbelief.

He shoved Victoria away and said angrily, "How dare you touch my woman? You're f*cking dead!"

Victoria immediately turned around and hugged him by the waist once more. "What are you talking about? He's my brother!" Victoria cried.

"What?" Trevor gasped.

His eyes widened in shock, and he immediately stopped what he was doing.

Alaric had already moved to the other side of the room as he struggled to stand up. His eyes lit up as he exclaimed, "Wow! What a handsome man!"

Upon seeing Alaric's reaction, Victoria instantly explained worriedly, "He's my husband! Stay away from him and go back to bed!"

Victoria then grabbed Trevor by the sleeve and pushed him out of the room. She followed him out, face cold and slightly out of breath.

"What are you doing here? Did someone get sick again and need your care?" Victoria asked, her voice emotionless.

Why wasn't he in the office during the day? He must've been goofing around!

Victoria was obviously being sarcastic. However, Trevor only got the memo after a long time. He noticed that she not only had become plumper in the few days they hadn't seen each other, but she also looked really good, with an air of something different about her.
