When she saw the two girls leaving, Victoria initially wanted to walk out and greet them. Instead, she squatted down and hid from them. She rubbed her shoes, her face blushing red.

She initially hated him a lot, but she couldn't stop herself from being moved when it came to this matter.

She rested her head on her arms as what had happened in the past few days flooded her mind. A smile unconsciously made its way to her face.

"He even wanted to break up with me when I visited Alaric. I didn't expect that he would be the bigger man in this matter..." She thought to herself.

Victoria grinned as she gently stroked the scabs on her arm. "It seems you're not as useless as I thought!"

It looked like he still had some merits! In a situation like this, he never blamed or despised her. Instead, he took revenge for her, which was very pleasing to know about!

She suddenly remembered that he secretly went to the backyard at noon. When she went to find him, he had even reached out to cover her eyes, an indication of how considerate he was. This reminded her of the first time they met.

He was still that ruthless man! He was even more vicious than Shirley!

He was probably behind that wolfhound ordeal. He wouldn't be blamed if the man was bitten by the dogs! He didn't do it in the backyard, nor did he do it himself. Was he being considerate of her?

Judging from his attitude toward this scum, he must be very concerned about her!

He acted like a real man! He didn't vent his anger at her because of what happened. He gave in to her and was much better than those useless guys who only knew how to beat their wives when they met with problems!

Trevor turned down all his social activities just for Victoria. On the way home, he was still thinking about this matter. However, as long as he still had some conscience in him, he wouldn't do such things to hurt her! Moreover, he was tied down by his family and didn't even have the courage to take revenge on him. This meant that the mastermind could easily come from his side of things. Who would benefit most if she was hurt and their relationship was ruined?

However, that was impossible. She was so frail that she couldn't barely get up to see the sun. Walking a few steps was already strenuous for her. How could a thought like this even pass through her mind? Moreover, she had never met Victoria. Even without Victoria, he still wouldn't be with her. It was pointless for her to do this!

Trevor clenched then loosened his fists over and over again. His mind was a complete mess.

"Has Vicky eaten?" Trevor asked while he removed his coat.

"Miss Atlas said that she had no appetite and didn't want to eat. I only served her a glass of milk!" The servant replied.

Trevor was about to turn to leave when he suddenly stopped in his tracks. She had no appetite? What was going on? How could this little glutton have no appetite?

Although she had stopped wanting to leave the room, she still had three meals a day. Had she been reminded of something because she saw the rascal earlier that day?
