Slowly, Trevor let out a sigh of relief while grasping the phone. He glared at Bryson as if he wanted to tear him into pieces.

Bryson was utterly useless. He just couldn't do anything right! He ruined everything!

"Where's the box?"

The chip inside the box was much to Trevor's concern. He couldn't believe that it slipped from his fingers every time the opportunity was right in front of him. It was such a simple task, yet all he did was get himself into trouble!

Trevor flew into a rage at the thought of it.

"W- We burned the box! The box is too eyecatching, and we were afraid that it would get us into trouble if someone picked it up after we threw it away. I swear I'm not lying. At first, Amelia told me to keep the bracelet and she would keep the box, saying that the box was much more worthy than the bracelet. But I was still too scared of getting into trouble... We even had a big fight over this. In the end, we decided to burn it for safety's sake."

If the box was really gone, it was for the best!

Trevor's brows furrowed tightly and he glared at

Bryson with a piercing gaze. "Oh, really?"

He ended his question with a higher pitch. Undoubtedly, Trevor was questioning the reliability of Bryson's words.

"Yes! I swear that everything I said is all true! I will be struck by lightning and die a miserable death if I lied. Please don't hit me again, I'm not lying!"

Trevor turned to meet Holger's gaze, and the latter nodded. Trevor then warned Bryson, saying, "If I ever find out you're lying to me again, your brain will be scooped out and fed to the sharks!"

"I would dare! Mr. Clements, please spare me!"

After that, Trevor asked, "Who did you meet today?"

"Huh?" For a moment, Bryson looked confused.

"How did you get injured?"

Reading between the lines, Bryson quickly realized what Trevor really meant. Pointing at his wound, Bryson answered without any hesitation, "Do you mean this? I stabbed myself to scare the loan sharks away! I didn't meet anyone..."

"Well, that's the answer I'm looking for."

Trevor beckoned to his men to release their hold on Bryson.

"I'll let the matter drop here. If I hear a single word about our meeting or the formula anywhere else, you'll face the consequences!"

Trevor's gaze swept over Bryson as he spoke. His frosty look terrified Bryson so much that Bryson curled up into a ball and mumbled, "I know nothing at all, nothing!"

Trevor then gestured to Holger with a knowing look and strode out of the warehouse.

Holger took out a cheque worth 100,000 dollars and shoved it into Bryson's hand. "You are lucky enough today since Mr. Clements is in a good mood. If this ever happened again, get yourself a coffin in advance."

After saying that, Holger promptly followed after Trevor.

Trevor passed Holger the phone when both of them were back in the car. After dealing with all the mess, Trevor pinched his eyebrows to relax.

Holger briefly went through the photos on the phone and said, "It looks like this is the formula we've been looking for all this while. Trevor, what's your next move?"

Although the original piece was lost, it was sufficient for them to have a copy of the formula.

"There's an expert at Willy's place. She should be able to easily tell whether it's legitimate. We can't do anything with the photos anyway. Just send

him the photos. I don't trust Bryson at all!"

Trevor was still in the midst of anger as he answered.

"Haha."

Seeing Trevor's reaction, Holger shook his head gently as he chuckled. "Trevor, you are getting more and more humane."
