Scarlet blinked her innocent big eyes and asked Charlene, "Ms. Geller, is the president of Obsidian Group your grandfather? Or your mother?"

"What are you talking about?" Charlene glared at Scarlet.

Scarlet scratched her head and said, "It's the only possibility! Otherwise, even if the president were your uncle, there's no way they would so easily transfer the money and sign the contract!"

Charlene was also puzzled, muttering, "I'm confused, too. Could it have something to do with Daniel? No, that's impossible! Jennifer locked him up for three years, and he couldn't even leave the house—how could he be involved with Obsidian Group?"

She decided not to think about it anymore. She first went back to the company and shared the good news. From then onward, she just needed to focus on full-scale production.

The company was now fully operational.

In the evening, Charlene bought some groceries and returned home. She decided to thank Daniel.

Upon entering the house, Daniel suddenly lifted her before she could say anything.

"Ah! What are you doing? You..." The groceries fell from her hands.

He didn't want to waste any time. He looked at Charlene and said, "This is the debt you owe! Now that it's paid, we're even. I no longer want to be around a venomous woman like you."

Charlene tried to resist, but she hadn't even changed or showered. She didn't exactly reject Daniel. She just felt they had a misunderstanding.

Charlene was about to speak, but she wasn't given a chance. The words she wanted to say wouldn't come out.

After about 20 minutes, her phone suddenly rang.

Charlene replied, "No. It went unusually smoothly. It went so smoothly that I feel like I'm dreaming! I even suspect the president of Obsidian Group is my biological father."

Jennifer sounded surprised. "No way! They didn't try to take advantage of you? Oh, my! Charlene, you didn't sleep with the chairman to secure the order, did you?"

"What nonsense are you talking about!" Charlene was speechless. She said, "Jennifer, I'm a bit tired. If there's nothing else, I'll hang up. I need to take a bath."

"I'm just bored and missing that bastard Daniel. Can you show me where he is? Let me have a look at him," Jennifer said.

Charlene was startled. She quickly shook her head.
