Joshua turned to look at Daniel and stubbornly pursed his lips.

In response, Daniel shook his head helplessly. Joshua was indeed a headstrong guy.

"You've finally decided to show yourself, Daniel. Hand over the goods, or we'll show no mercy!"

A series of stern shouts rang out. A trace of contempt flashed across Daniel's face as he spat. "Just you lot? You think you deserve it?"

The other party scoffed. "You think you're something, huh, Daniel? Now go to hell!"

A blade tore through the rain curtain, and immediately after, an old man with a cold expression appeared before Daniel.

"Be careful!" Joshua exclaimed in alarm.

The old man's domineering air seemed to repel the rain from his body. It was a technique only a true grandmaster could achieve.

Joshua looked anxiously at Daniel from behind, but the latter simply raised his hand and gently waved in the old man's direction. "How dare you come barking with this worthless skill of yours? Who gave you the guts to do that?"

With that, the charging old man froze. The once mighty momentum from his blade instantly dissipated, and his weapon dropped to the ground with a heavy thud.

Joshua's eyes widened in shock. He knew Daniel was strong, but he'd never expected the latter to be this absurdly powerful!

Daniel didn't pause after making his move. With a slight flick of his wrist, the falling rain transformed into deadly weapons. And with a casual wave of his hand, the rain curtain swallowed the enemies ahead.

"Damn it! What's going on?"

"This guy has been hiding his true strength! Hurry up and stop him!"

Panic-filled voices rang out, and blood splattered wherever Daniel passed.

A convoy of cars sat silently at the factory's entrance with their headlights off. Only the occasional flash of lightning revealed their presence.

Omari's expression grew serious. He slowly pushed the car door and stepped out.

"Long time no see, Mr. Ashcroft!" Omari smiled and showed no sign of panic.

"Long time no see." Daniel remained eerily calm despite facing an enemy with a deep blood feud. He'd imagined countless ways to kill Omari but dismissed them all in the end.

If he simply killed them now, that would be letting Omari off too easily. Daniel wanted Omari to experience true despair and to feel the agony of knowing what was coming yet being completely powerless to stop it.

More importantly, Daniel wanted to find out who exactly was behind the latter.

"It seems you've made quite some progress over the years, Mr. Ashcroft. I must say, I'm a little surprised!" Omari squinted at Daniel while his hand slowly moved toward the blade at his waist.

Daniel glanced at him. "I wouldn't do anything so stupid if I were you. Don't worry, I won't kill you today."
