"Ten million dollars? Are you taking me for a fool, Ms. Geller?" Amarok sneered.

He fixed his gaze on Jennifer. "Your idiot husband is quite something. He killed so many Black Wolf Syndicate members. Do you have anything to say about this, Ms. Walsh?"

"That idiot often acts crazy. I failed to discipline him properly and let him make such a grave mistake. Mr. Gill, how do you plan to handle this?"

Jennifer cursed Daniel furiously in her heart. But at the moment, she had no other option and just wanted to resolve the matter quickly. Otherwise, if Black Wolf Syndicate retaliated, she would be implicated as well.

"How do I plan to handle this?" Sneering, Amarok slammed his palm on the table, and the door instantly closed.

He then stood up. "That depends on whether you can satisfy me."

Seeing the sinister grin on Amarok's face, Charlene and Jennifer both turned pale.

"Mr. Gill, just name a number! We're willing to pay, no matter how much it is!" Charlene quickly spoke up.

"This isn't a problem money can solve. I was planning to look for you two, but you've delivered yourselves to my door," uttered Amarok as he approached Charlene and Jennifer.

Charlene grabbed Jennifer and tried to run for the door, but two burly men blocked the exit.

Jennifer clearly realized what was about to happen and started cursing loudly, "Daniel, you damn idiot!"

"Keep cursing, you stupid woman!" Daniel's voice suddenly echoed.

Both Charlene and Jennifer, as well as Amarok, were stunned.

The door burst open. The burly men standing at the doorway didn't even have time to react before the shattered door pierced through their bodies.

Daniel's face was cold. Even though he had mentally prepared himself, the moment he saw Jennifer, he was filled with a strong urge to kill her on the spot.

"You're a martial artist? It seems I've underestimated you," Amarok said as he moved backward quietly, reaching into a drawer.

Of course, Daniel noticed his subtle movements. A trace of disdain flashed in his eyes.

"Daniel! Watch out!" Charlene warned.

Amarok pulled out a golden handgun and aimed it at Daniel, pulling the trigger without hesitation.

Charlene looked toward Daniel in fear, but Daniel had vanished before her eyes.

"You!" Amarok shouted in shock, his head tilting as he collapsed to the ground.

Daniel clapped his hands as if he'd just done something trivial, then he turned his gaze to Jennifer. "Now, we can have a proper talk."
