At Sakuna Bar, Ishaan was fawning obsequiously over the man before him.

"Mr. Parker, these are the finest goods we have here. Rest assured, you'll be satisfied!" Ishaan said with a flattering smile.

Adrian Parker glanced at Ishaan before kicking him, sending him sprawling to the ground.

Ishaan cried out in pain.

Adrian stared at him coldly. "Don't think that just giving me Daniel's phone number means this matter is over! Zak died here, so you'll have to explain this to Mr. Dooly yourself!"

Ignoring the pain, Ishaan knelt on the ground and bowed to Adrian. "Mr. Parker, you don't understand! Daniel is ruthless! I dared not defy him at all. To make amends, I contacted Mr. Dooly right away. You must help me!"

"It seems I've underestimated you." Daniel's voice suddenly rang out from outside the room.

Adrian lifted his head abruptly.

The next second, the door shattered. One of his subordinates was flung inside, landing heavily on the ground.

Adrian's men reacted swiftly. As soon as Daniel appeared, they immediately drew their firearms.

Crossfire erupted.

Judging by their seamless coordination, these men were far more skilled than Colt's group. At such close range and with overlapping firepower, dodging seemed almost impossible, even for a grandmaster.

But in the next moment, Adrian was stunned.

Daniel's body twisted unnaturally, evading the barrage by a hair's breadth.

And the gunmen clearly wouldn't get a second chance to shoot.

"Heh! Of course I know!" Adrian's gaze turned wild, a crazed light flickering in his eyes.

"I always thought it was just speculation, but it turns out the Ashcroft family really did possess the gene key! You might be strong, but you'll never be able to keep that secret safe!" He glared at Daniel with venomous hatred.

He understood all too well—once Daniel revealed his strength, Adrian's fate was sealed.

"Is that so? Then, it seems I'll have to disappoint you," Daniel replied coldly. With a sudden, forceful stomp, Adrian's Essence Chamber shattered.

Adrian screamed in agony, convulsing on the ground before succumbing to the pain and passing out.

Daniel chose not to kill him outright. Adrian clearly knew some inside information, and it was likely that he had been directly involved in the attack on the Ashcroft family years ago.

For someone like Adrian, death would be far too merciful.
