After incapacitating Adrian, Daniel turned to Ishaan.

At this moment, Ishaan was cowering in the corner. His pants were soaked, emitting the pungent smell of urine.

"You've got some nerve," Daniel remarked while looking at him.

Ishaan shook his head frantically, turning his body to try to grab hold of Daniel's leg. "Don't kill me! I really don't know anything!"

"I hate being lied to the most," Daniel said coldly, not bothering to listen to Ishaan's explanation. He then kicked Ishaan's neck with force.

Ishaan's face instantly turned red and then blue and purple. As he clutched his throat, his eyes bulged, and he convulsed twice before falling silent.

"Alden, bring your men to Sakuna Bar," Daniel instructed as he sat in a chair, his gaze resting on Adrian's unconscious body. The murderous intent in his eyes made the temperature in the room drop significantly.

Alden arrived as quickly as possible after receiving Daniel's call.

When he saw Adrian, a flicker of surprise crossed his face. "Adrian?"

"You know him?" Daniel asked, looking at Alden.

Though Alden was intimidated by the killing intent radiating from Daniel, he didn't dare delay his response.

"Adrian is a renowned grandmaster-level expert from Gimlin, reputed to be unmatched among the middle-aged generation. And he has another identity—an external elder of the Keaton family."

"The Keaton family?" Daniel murmured as he once again heard the name of Gimlin's Keaton family. It seemed the Keaton family was already on alert after their previous envoy had been intercepted and killed. Otherwise, Adrian wouldn't have appeared here.

"I've already crippled his cultivation. Make sure not to kill him. Keep him alive and well-fed," Daniel instructed Alden, his tone carrying a chilling edge.

Alden's expression shifted slightly at his words. It was clear his decision to follow Daniel was the right one.

The fact that Adrian—a grandmaster hailed as the strongest of the middle-aged generation—had been defeated and crippled, spoke volumes about Daniel's power.

Charlene sat across from Oscar, visibly agitated. "Grandpa, you must be joking!"

A sharp glint flashed in Oscar's eyes. "Also, didn't I tell you to have Daniel come over?"

Charlene stared at Oscar in shock. "Grandpa, are you… planning to use him as a pawn?"

"You could put it that way," Oscar said, shaking his head as he slowly walked to the window.

"But I believe Daniel won't mind. This is also an opportunity for him—a chance for him to get revenge."
