Broken And Pregnant novel Chapter 19

Suddenly, I felt a warm arm wrapping my waist. 

"Did you like this place? I hope so because this is yours now." Kent whispered behind my ears. 

I lean on and nod my head. 

"Of course, this place is awesome! Thank you!" I face him and hug him tightly. 

He was surprised by my sudden clingy. 

He brought me on the couch and climb on top of me. I can feel Kent's hardness in my thighs.

"Can I have my reward too?" He said and I just close my eyes when he leans closer and invades my lips with all care. 

It was gentle with much love and sincerity. 

Can I trust Kent again? 

Will, he betrayed me again? 

I didn't want to think about him this way. I know he won't betray me again.

His kiss became rough that I wince when he harshly bit my lower lip. I was stunned and pushed him away from me. 

I saw blood in my fingers when I touch my lips. 

"You're not like this! You hurt me!" I told him and he came closer to comfort and apologize to me. 

"I'm so sorry. I'm too aggressive and it's my fault. I just miss you, Lucy!" He added. 

I just stood up and went to the kitchen. I went inside the bathroom and clean my face. I'm tired and I want to take a rest. I'm on my way back to the living area when my phone beep. I check it and it's a text from an anonymous number. 

Number: "I know what you did inside the bar!"

It's a text message and that person is unknown. 

Lucy POV

Kent promises to visit me every Saturday and Sunday in the villa. I filed a resignation letter because he told me that it's good that I stop working since my pregnancy is very sensitive. He said and he will find a new secretary so that Eloisa won't suspect that I am his newly hired secretary. I accepted what he said because I trusted him. 

I dialed his number to check him since we haven't met for almost five days. He said that he will call me once Eloisa was asleep but as days passed by, I heard nothing about him. I feel odd about this.

His phone keeps ringing but he's not picking it. What if I visit him in the mansion? 

I got up from my bed and made a quick shower. My baby inside is already 12 weeks old and my OB told me that it's okay to drive but only nearby places. Kent won't get mad about it since his house is just thirty minutes away from here. 

I finish my milk and cupcake before I left the villa. I drove halfway when I saw Kent and Gregory inside the coffee shop. They're sitting and having coffee while having a conversation.

I parked my car in the parking area where he can't see me. I hop outside and wear my eyeglass so he won't recognize me. I sat behind them while looking at the menu list.

They seem too serious in their discussion. 

"So how's Eloisa? I heard she's doing well and had a fast recovery." Gregory said while Kent is listening.
