I can't let him hurt her. Even I can't stop the evil people who will go to hurt her, at least I save her early before her heart will be torn into pieces. 

I shook my head. Maybe I feel pity for her that's why I started to have feelings for her. No, I must protect her even for Kent.

I was about to leave when a hand grabs my arms. I'm doomed. Lucy woke up.

"Who are you? What are you doing in my room?" Her voice was firm.

I simply turned around and set a wide smile on my face. I have to act well or else I'll be dead meat tonight.

"Hi, Kent ordered me to send these flowers for you. I get going." I said and let go of her hands. 

I walked as fast as I can so that I can't hear her calling me to come back. 

"That was fast!" I mumbled and climbed inside my car. 

I'm now heading to my office.

Stone Residence

Kent came home after meeting Lucy. He noticed luggage on the couch. Who came home? They're not expecting visitors today. 

He went to the kitchen and saw Gale preparing food. 

"Brother, I'm glad your back! Eloisa just went back to sleep." He said and came to embrace him but Kent pushed him away. 

He's not happy to see his brother. 

" Gale, what brings you here? Did dad know you arrived?" Kent said to his brother while looking annoyed at him. 

Gale laughed at his stepbrother. He was the head chef in one of the luxurious hotels in Italy. Kent was always jealous of him since he was the favorite son of their father. Seeing him made his blood boils. 

"Hey, why the cold treatment? Come let's eat together. Wait, where did you go? No office right?" He said while preparing the pasta he made himself on the dining table. 

Kent narrowed his eyes on him. 

"I met with a friend. Anyway, where is Olivia? I heard you and her got engaged?" Kent asked his older brother while following him on the table. 

Gale put his specialty and prepared the plate. 

"She can't come since her schedule is very hectic but she said to greet Eloisa on her 26th birthday." He replied and started digging in the food he prepared. 

"Taste it, bro. It's delicious." He set a smile on him. 

Kent just eats silently when Gale asks him a question. 

" No one can deter in my plan! Gale won't tell Kent about our secret. I know he won't." She mumbled and put a disgusted look on her face.

"What the hell are you two doing?" Alexander yelled at them. 

"Good morning, father. It's not what you think, right, bro?" Gale gazes at Kent. 

" Yeah. We're just fooking around!" He added. 

Alexander Stone took a sigh of dismay when he put the newspaper at the table. 

"Kent, what is that?" He look at it and saw his picture and Lucy inside the hospital.

"Explain to me! Hurry!" His dad can't be patient with him. 

Kent's eyes widened to see the article. Who does it and how did they know about him and Lucy? No one knows except one person he knew too. 

Kent walked closer and pulled his dad outside. 

"Can we not talk it here? Can we talk about it in my office, dad?" He tried to convince his father not to let Gale overheard their discussion. 

Alexander glared at him and he was the one who leads the way at Kent's office.  Before that, he took the article on the paper, and Gale watchh them with confusion.
