"What are they hiding? Am I late for a scandal?" He murmured while continuing his dinner alone. 

Inside the office, Kent took a deep breath before meeting his dad inside. This is a huge problem if he can't solve this today. 

"Why are you seeing this girl? I heard she's your secretary?" His dad was very clever until now. He still lurking behind his actions. 

"Dad, I don't know how to tell you this but I don't know that she's my secretary!" He defend himself. 

His dad raises his eyebrows. 

"So you made her pregnant? You bought her a villa and you let her resign from her work? You know what scandal is this?!?" His dad's voice frees louder. 

"Eloisa isn't sick. She can't bear a child either. Do you know that?" Kent told his dad while keeping himself calm. 

"It's an act so his dad won't disappoint about our marriage. She can't provide me a child!" He continued. 

Alexander couldn't believe what was his son is saying. 

"What? So you hit on Lucy and what? You will divorce Eloisa and marry your first love?" His dad asked him. 

He gritted his teeth. 

"Nope. We will adopt her child!" Kent said.

"What???" Alexander was speechless after hearing his son's confession. 

Eight months later

Lucy winces in pain on her swollen belly. This morning she keeps going back in the bathroom to pee. She also felt the sudden discomfort on her hips when made a single move. She decided to call Kent for help. 

"Kent, where are you? I think --I'm ---ahhhh!!! --I'm going to ---please come here quickly and take me to the hospital!" She told him over the phone while holding her huge belly.

"Just relax, okay. I'm coming!" Kent said in a hurry. 

Lucy, we're covered with a ball of sweats on her forehead. She slowly rested her hips on the couch. She took a deep breath once in a while when she felt pain again. She's about to give birth and she was alone inside the villa. She and his father fought when he found out that Kent is the father of her baby. 

Two months ago

"Dad?" Lucy answered her phone. She was surprised to receive a call from a payphone. She knew it was her father who only used a payphone to contact her. 

"Are you okay? You said we can't go out together in a public place!" She was confused about his sudden decision. 

Kent pulled her closer next to him. He caresses her hair and smiled at her. He seems in a good mood. What's the occasion? Lucy asked herself while staring at him so passionately. 

"I just want to be good to you. I asked my friend to close his restaurant for both of us! Does it sound good to you?" He said and pinch her nose. 

"Ouch!" Lucy said and laughed at him. 

She wrapped her arms on Kent and lean her face on his shoulder. 

"Thank you. I love you." She whispered. 

Five months earlier 

Rafael POV 

" You can't fool me, Lucy. I know you're lying." He murmured while waiting outside the company where she works.

He heard that she applied in the Wine Ace Corp where the CEO was Kent Oliver Stone, the son of Alexander Stone whom he repented not meeting him just to destroy their lives.
