His eyes shifted at Lucy by looking at his front mirror. He felt sorry for her. She's too beautiful to be broken and got pregnant by my brother. I wanted to ask him why he came back and did this kind of immature stuff.

Did Eloisa stain his clean conscience again? Because she can't have a baby, she ordered her husband to do what she says? She's stupid and ambitious. She gets what she wants even destroying someone's else life and future. 

"We're here!" I broke my silence while driving. 

Lucy fell asleep on the trip. I brought her to Tagaytay. A place where a popular mountain Taal Volcano rested. 

She slowly adjusted her blurred vision because she fell asleep during the ride.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know we're here!" She said and begun to felt goosebumps on her arms.

When Gale opened the car door, Lucy quickly wrapped her body with her arms. He noticed. it. When she walked out of his car, he immediately offered to her his long sleeve dark blue coat. 

"Wear this. and I'll buy you a scarf and jacket", he said but Lucy told him that she's fine. without the jacket. Just a scarf itself and she's good. 

"No! I was the one who brought you here so no need to worry about it!" He insisted so she just followed her while looking for a room to rest. 

They passed at every store to find a nice scarf for Lucy because she's freezing. While Lucy and Gale decided to go back to their respective room, she got an emergency call again coming from the hospital. 

Her heart didn't skip a bit anymore. 

"Why? Is everything okay, ma'am?" She asked the nurse who was taking care of her dad. 

"I'm so sorry I was on my way in your to help him take the med but he threw it. He said he wants his daughter to feed him. 

"Okay, I'm coming!" She replied. 

Gale frowned after knowing that Lucy wasn't available today. Lucy felt sorry to tell him but he just smiled and accepted it. 

Gale decided to bring her to the hospital before he went back to the states. He didn't tell her that he can't be seen by her anymore after three whole months. He had urgent business matters there so he decided to go back quickly. 

They stop at the hospital but they had no idea that prying eyes found them.

Thursday 2 pm

Her phone suddenly rang and she checks it from her bag who was calling her. It's from the hospital's staff. 

She swipes the touchscreen button to answer it. 

"Yes, hello?" She said while waiting for the staff's response. She's hoping that it's a good one. 

Her heart began pounding like a drum that reaches her ears. She's hoping that his father's memory will be back to normal so that he can recall what happened that night. He can tell her what kind of car hit him and if he remembered the person who bumped into him. 

"Your father just regained his consciousness." The nurse informed her and Lucy told Gale that she will be going back to check her father's condition. 

Gale hid his face with his palm and took a deep sigh. Yes, his heart wanted to jump out from his chest with happiness to have someone better by his side but this situation suddenly came up so he will be going back to the states tomorrow with disbelief because she can't be with him for a long time.
