Aaron glanced at his watch.

There were still four hours until his flight took off.

He had plenty of time.

"Take me to Rosewood Gardens," he suddenly ordered. The driver, caught off guard for a moment, quickly made a turn at the next intersection.

When the car arrived at Rosewood Gardens, Aaron stepped out.

The staff, seeing him return, promptly greeted him with a "Good evening, Mr. Vance."

Aaron didn't respond, instead striding quickly toward Serena's room.

Pushing open the door, he found the room empty, causing his heart to skip a beat.

"Where's Serena?" he demanded, grabbing the attention of a passing housekeeper.

The housekeeper stammered nervously, "Miss Sullivan hasn't been home for several days... I... I don't know where she went."

She hasn't been back for days?

Just a few days ago, Olivia had said Serena was still at Rosewood Gardens.

Could it be?!

Aaron's heart raced as he hurried into the room and flung open the wardrobe.

Seeing it packed with clothes, he exhaled a sigh of relief.

The clothes were still there, suggesting Serena hadn't left.

Just as he was about to leave, he paused, remembering something. He returned to the wardrobe.

These clothes, Serena never touched them.

Her belongings were always in the wardrobe on the right.

Just as he reached to open the right side, his phone rang. It was Matthew calling.

"What's up?" he answered.

At eight in the evening, Serena made her way downstairs and spotted William waiting at the entrance of the Helene Grand Hotel.

Though seated in a wheelchair, William's commanding presence easily drew the attention of passersby.

Serena approached him, aware of the curious glances they were attracting. "Shall we go up?"

"No," William replied with a slight smile, "As Mrs. Grayson, you need to learn to live under people's scrutiny."

Serena barely suppressed a frown. "So we just stand here like fools?"

William chuckled, "Not just stand here. You need to gaze at me lovingly, just like I gaze at you."

He fixed his eyes on Serena, his gaze warm and full of unspoken emotions.

Serena remained silent.

She suspected that ever since William's legs were paralyzed, his mind had taken a strange turn, prompting this bizarre public display.

After playing along with William's charade until past ten, he finally seemed satisfied and graciously said, "Alright, you can go now."
