Yvonne raised her hand and pointed towards Serena. "Miss Sullivan!"

The crowd stared at Yvonne, bewildered and incredulous.

The crowd erupted in shock, realizing Yvonne intended to humiliate Serena.

“Yvonne!” Samuel couldn’t stand it any longer. “Is this really necessary?”

“Oh, it’s quite entertaining,” Yvonne replied smugly, looking at Serena. “Back in college, I heard Miss Sullivan was fond of antiques. This Diamond Crown might not be authentic, but it’s one-of-a-kind. If Miss Sullivan misses this chance, she might never get another. Are you sure you won’t kneel?”

Serena’s gaze was icy.

Just as she was about to speak, a colder voice interrupted from behind.

“It’s just an antique. No matter how unique it is, it’s still a replica. Demanding someone kneels for it, Yvonne, did you miss the memo when they announced liberation?”

Yvonne turned pale, looking towards the voice, and saw Aaron. Her face turned even whiter.

Aaron standing up for Serena was something she hadn’t expected, not in her wildest dreams.

Although Aaron had almost married Serena recently, he ultimately left her for Cynthia Lynwood, making Serena the laughingstock of Alderburg’s elite circle once again.
