"Of course, I'm willing to take on the task," Serena replied, "but I'm not sure... will the owner of the watch agree? I've never repaired a watch before."

"He definitely will," William assured her with confidence.

"Why?" Serena asked, puzzled.

"That's not for you to worry about. Just tell me, are you willing or not?"

"I'm willing!" Serena nodded eagerly, not wanting to miss out on such a valuable opportunity.

"Alright, I'll have Finn send it to you tomorrow."

"Thank you," Serena said gratefully.

"No need to be so formal," William replied.

Serena paused, a moment of silence passing between them.

"By the way, there's something else I need to tell you."

Serena straightened up, curious. "What is it?"

"Next month, I'm heading to Alderburg again," William said, watching her closely.

In the warm glow of the lamp, Serena's cheeks were as flawless as porcelain, her eyes bright like stars, and her lips a vivid red, as if she had stepped out of an artist's painting. Yet, despite his news, there was no surprise on her face.

"You don't seem very thrilled about me going to Alderburg," William noted, masking his discomfort with a casual tone.

"It's not that," Serena hesitated. She found it odd that he was making a point to tell her he was visiting Alderburg. Was it just small talk?

"Of course, you're always welcome in Alderburg. The last time you were here, you didn't get a chance to enjoy it properly. This time, let me be your host," she offered.
