The energy of The City of Cycles was depleted, and the scene disappeared out of thin air.

Victoria stayed in place, scared out of her wits.

"Victoria," Nathan's voice came from the bathroom.

Victoria hesitated for a while, and finally stuffed The City of Cycles into her clothes, then left while holding Nathan's clean clothes.

When Nathan came out of the bathroom, he saw Victoria sitting at the dining table, looking distraught.

Nathan smiled and asked, "What's wrong?"

Victoria turned her head and smiled softly, "Nothing? It's just that I feel sorry for you. Thinking about how you offended my stubborn sister for me. I feel very guilty."

Nathan patted her head and said, "Speaking of which, it was because of my selfish desires that I provoked her and harmed her physically. It's only natural for her to hate me. I don't blame her."

Madam Moore's face turned very unnatural.

Victoria was very hurt and she didn't let Thea continue speaking. "Thea, don't pretend to be sympathetic like a cat crying over a dead mouse. My mom takes care of my dad willingly. You think everyone is like you, forgetting their roots and being unfilial to their parents."

Thea's mocking gaze turned towards Victoria. "Victoria, you were filial to your parents, but only with your mouth, right?"
