Isabella took a bite of her pizza and casually glanced at Nathan. "You, born with a golden key, eating abalone and bear paws every day—aren't you enjoying life even more than I am?"

Nathan: "..."

"Can you even compare with me?"

Nathan muttered under his breath, his voice low but still full of arrogance, which irritated Isabella. She frowned.

She gave him a disdainful look. "Am I missing a heart? Or maybe an eye? Nathan, we're both human beings, so be kind. We're equals. You're not more noble than I am."

Nathan was taken aback, but his handsome face darkened immediately. "Sharp-tongued. If you're so capable, stop being a parasite."

Isabella retorted, "I'm your wife. Your income is half mine. I'm using your money, and it's completely legal. If you don't like me being a parasite, then why don't you divorce me?"

Nathan choked on his words, stunned by her boldness. He had never imagined that the Isabella who used to be so pliable would now defend her interests so fiercely with the law.

He had a sinking feeling—Isabella was no longer as easy to control as before.

After finishing her breakfast, Isabella gracefully stood up, turned, and left the dining room.

Nathan glanced at the messy dining table and exploded in frustration. "Isabella, clean up the table!"

Without looking back, Isabella responded, "I'm Mrs. Hill, not a maid of the Hill family. Let the maid handle that."

"Isabella, don't think that just because of your little favor to Victoria, I'll keep tolerating you without limits. I'm warning you—if you don't understand your place, don't blame me for not remembering our past. I will divorce you. And when that happens, don't come crying to me begging for reconciliation."

Furious, Nathan kicked the sofa leg.

Isabella's voice floated back, light as air: "Nathan, who cares about your tolerance? If you can't stand me, then divorce me."

"Gladly," Nathan spat, fuming.

It was a leisurely weekend when two distinguished young men arrived at the Sanchez family Hotel.

Guillermo and Theodore ran into each other at the entrance. Guillermo immediately narrowed his eyes, sizing up Theodore warily. "Theodore, this hotel was transferred to me by my father. What are you doing here?"

Theodore smirked, a thin line of disdain curling at the corner of his lips. "Guillermo, what are you so nervous about?"

"Well, of course, anyone would be worried about something that doesn't belong to them—worrying it might be taken back by the original owner."

Guillermo's face flushed with rage. "What nonsense! This hotel belongs to me now. My father handed it over to me, so I'm the rightful heir."

Without warning, Theodore threw a punch at him. "Guillermo, watch your mouth."

He despised those who lived off his mother's wealth without showing any respect for her.

"If it weren't for my mother, your dad would be nothing but a penniless ‘phoenix man.' Your father eats soft rice, relying on my mother's dowry to get rich, yet now he turns his back on her."

Theodore didn't know where the strength came from, but he pummeled Guillermo to the ground with a few well-placed blows.

The bodyguards rushed over to break up the fight.

"Master Theodore, please calm down."

Guillermo howled in pain, "You brat, how dare you hit me? Isn't my dad also your dad? I'm going to tell him how you've been scheming against him behind his back."

Theodore kicked him again. "Tattletale."

The bodyguards quickly pulled Theodore away while Guillermo scrambled to his feet, glaring at Theodore with fury.

"You better watch out, I swear I'll kick you out of the Sanchez family. One day, you'll need me!"

Theodore sneered. "Dream on."

"Guillermo, who needs whom in the end? We'll see."
