Nathan won.

He successfully retained his assets.

Victoria and Mrs. Hill couldn’t hide their joy and exchanged enthusiastic high-fives.

Victoria even purposely approached Isabella, wearing an air of grace as she tried to console her: “Bella, I’ve told you before, you shouldn’t have tried to go against Nathan.”

Though Isabella lost the case, she showed no sign of defeat. Instead, she smiled brightly at Victoria and said, "Do you really think you won?"

Her gaze shifted to Nathan, who stood not far away with a gray expression, his face drained of color. A small smile curled at her lips. “Victoria, do you really think he looks like someone who won the case?”

Victoria was taken aback, glancing at Nathan. She had never seen him so dejected before. An ominous feeling began to rise in her chest.

As expected, after the trial, the media reporters surged forward as if they had been set free, angrily defending Isabella and using humiliating language to berate Nathan.

Especially the blunt, straightforward reporter from before, who now launched into a direct attack on Nathan: “Nathan, Isabella has accused you of fraud and bigamy. Do you have any explanation?”

Nathan, standing there like a prisoner before a cross, his face a picture of discomfort, replied, “There’s nothing to explain. This matter will be handled by my lawyer.”

“The Nathan has been taking advantage of his marriage to Isabella, refusing to give a single cent. Is it possible that the Nathan has confused the role of a businessman with that of a husband?”

Nathan shot a cold, furious glare at the reporter.

Clearly, the reporter was looking for trouble.

“Which media outlet do you represent?” he asked, his voice dripping with menace.

An outright threat.

The reporter, however, was unfazed: “After your divorce from Isabella, will you marry your true love, Victoria? Is the child in Victoria’s womb really yours?”

Nathan’s face turned darker still.

“Since the Nathan refuses to answer my question, I take it as an admission of my speculation.”

Fraud, bigamy…

If any of these “charges” were true, Nathan’s reputation would be irreparably damaged.

Nathan’s silence seemed to confirm the accusations. Admitting guilt would only deepen his disgrace. He felt like a trapped beast, desperately searching for an escape, but there were walls in every direction. No way out.

In his desperation, he lost control.

In a fit of rage, he grabbed the reporter’s camera and hurled it to the ground.

With a loud crack, the camera shattered into pieces.

Nathan’s bloodshot eyes glared at the reporter, but he saw Isabella behind him, wearing a victorious, smug smile.

It was like a cold wave swept over him. The realization hit him like a slap to the face.

He had never understood why Isabella, so powerless and insignificant, would dare to fight him in court. Even knowing he had signed a prenuptial agreement, she still greedily demanded more.

Now, he understood.

Her greed wasn’t about getting more; it was a tactic to provoke him.

Her true intention wasn’t to win the lawsuit. It was to publicly expose his ugly side.

Isabella had played him like a fiddle.
