Chapter 2: Terrifying Nightmares

His eyesight is looking straight as he is running fast in the woods. It's as though that the wind is trying to cope up with him that the breez is blowing wild, and the trees are swaying in opposite direction-giving him way to run.

It was never easy for him to make decisions as crucial as this one. If he was to decide years ago, he would've taken her when the feelings isn't that deep yet, he would have just raped her when the attachment that they have isn't that strong yet.

She loves Pyress so much that even inside his dreams she's present. His plans of taking her rough was denied by the Grandpa that he has known.

It wasn't a secret that he's the only pure-blooded-werewolf alive, and he have to produce offspring to prevent extinction of his clan.

“How is it possible to wake them with the blood of a half werewolf?” He remembered asking Grandpa 3 years ago.

“The seed of a wolf monster was inside every human being of Vista clan. If they intake your blood directly they wouldn't make it. It has to be a halfblooded werewolf.” The Grandpa stated.

Vigor frowned; it was a little bit fuzzy for him.

“If a human with a seed of a werewolf couldn't take my blood, how can a human cope up with my strength during an intercourse?!” He said angrily.

The old man just shrugged and watched him being short in temper.

“You have to make it possible. The reason why you should have an attachment to that person before the intercourse- from that you would be careful.” The Grandpa stated coldly.

Vigor felt like his blood boiled in irritation after hearing that.

“Why can't I just take somebody in human form?” He asked.

It wasn't long when the old man answered but he paused a bit.

“Your seed is faster on your other form. If you take her on your human form, it would take forever to have an heir. You have to produce an heir, and the possibility of doing that in your other form is 100 percent in 1st try but 25 percent in 1st try of your human form.”

His jaw clenched and removed those memories he had 3 years ago. He wouldn't want to talk about it. Or even remember a little bit of it.

He continues running faster, the trees that comes in his way have nothing left but roots because of the wind pressure he releases in an instant.

Then he stopped on a cliff and howl, the howl that scares every living creature near that area, a howl that made some groups of birds evacuate in chaos from that area.

His eyes twinkled and shined vigorously, he sat on the cliff and closed it. He took deep breaths and when he opened again, he finally made a decision.

PYRESS POV

“You’ve been thinking deeply these days, it doesn’t suit you.” Miho whispered to me while she’s sipping orange juice that she got from the cafeteria.

I looked at her and pouted, “I was just thinking that maybe Vigor is angry at me.” I said.

Her eyebrows caressed as she look at me again. “Why?”

I sighed, “Because I didn’t inform him about last night and he was calling like hell.”

Miho got silent for a bit. “Maybe you’re just imagining things, Res,” she then said.

I pouted even more and sighed. Maybe, because Vigor never got angry with me since. Plus, we already talked in the parking lot yesterday. But what’s bothering me is that he didn’t answered my call and text from last night till now. The reason why I am overthinking.

Yesterday, I can see that he seems to have a problem, but he couldn’t grasp in it. It’s like he wanted to tell me but constantly hesitating.

I took another sigh and this time Miho looked at me sharply.

“Stop doing that, you sound like a problematic grandma.” She whispered.

I didn’t mind her and just went to the parking and decided to go home.

After the dinner with my parents, I went directly to my room. I didn’t even bothered cleaning myself up and just lay on my bed.
