Suzy shook her head, thinking she was likely overthinking it. 

Hawk had no reason to target Diana without motive. 

Putting her thoughts aside, Suzy continued typing, determined to break through the layers of the firewall blocking access to the dashcam footage. 

Finally, with the last barrier down, the original video file surfaced on her screen. 

The footage confirmed her suspicions: the accident wasn’t an accident at all–it was deliberate. 

Instead of immediately notifying Victor, Suzy sent the unedited video to Allen. “Before dawn, bring all these men to Hillside Villa.” 

Allen efficiently gathered the group and brought them to her. 

The five men, tightly bound, were lined up before Suzy as she descended the stairs and approached the driver of the black sedan that had been closest to Diana’s car. 

Without a word, she delivered a sharp kick to his stomach. 

The man, a bulky figure easily over 180 pounds, was sent flying two meters back, a testament to the force she used. The others immediately dropped their heads, barely daring to breathe as they tried to make themselves as inconspicuous as possible. 

But they couldn’t avoid the inevitable. 

Though she spared them her kicks, Suzy instructed Allen to untie them and ordered them to slap each other. 

Under her intimidating gaze, they complied, the sound of slaps echoing through the room. Her hawk–like gaze grew even colder. 

“I’m going to ask you all a few questions,” she said icily. “Answer truthfully, and you cant leave. Lie, and the consequences will be… different.” 

The men exchanged nervous glances. 

Ignoring their hesitation, Suzy asked her first question. “Who sent you? 

There was silence.

Allen delivered a sharp kick to the man closest to him. “You were asked a question!” 

The man clutched his aching arm, muttering, “No one put us up to this. We were just driving when she cut us off. We lost our tempers and chased her down.” 

Another chimed in, “Yeah, that’s it! That girl was way too arrogant. We were minding our almost taken out own business, and she nearly caused us to crash. A group of grown men, by some reckless kid–how could we let that slide? We only wanted to catch up and make her apologize. We never meant for things to go so far.” 

Suzy could tell they were lying, but she played along, moving to her next question. “Who deleted the dashcam footage?” 

One man raised a shaky hand. “I… I did. I was seared and thought deleting it would make us harder to track down.” 

Suzy nodded at Allen. “Bring him the laptop from the table.” 

Allen placed a sleek black laptop in front of the man. “Since you’re good with computers, why don’t you help me recover this data?” 

The man’s face drained of color. “I–I’m not good with computers. I just panicked and hit a few buttons…” 

Suzy’s voice took on an icy edge as she cut him off. “You have three seconds to decide whether you want to keep lying. After that, I won’t hesitate to repay you in kind.” 

She began counting down, “Three… two… one!”
