Suzy didn’t answer the question but asked instead, “Who brought me here?” 

She had to know who her savior was. 

The nurse replied, “You were brought here by an ambulance.” 

“An ambulance?” The person who saved her handed her over to paramedics? 

“Yes, about three hours ago. We received a call about a fire at Harlow Corporation and sent an ambulance. I was at the scene when you were brought in. You were the only one trapped in the fire.” 

“Just me?” 

“Yes!” The nurse nodded. “You’re incredibly lucky. In such a massive fire, not only did you survive, but you don’t even have severe burns.‘ 

So, was the masked man just her imagination? 

Impossible! 

She wasn’t the type to daydream. That man must have been real; he just didn’t reveal himself. That was why the nurse had no idea. 

Borrowing the nurse’s phone, Suzy sent a message to Allen. 

Her phone had vanished while she was resting earlier. 

It must have been taken by that person, likely afraid she’d call for help. He probably took it 

in advance.

“When the fire broke out, I called you right away. I called twice, but no one answered. On the third try, someone finally picked up. Your voice sounded weak, and you said you weren’t feeling well and asked me to send someone over.” 

He hadn’t thought much of it at the time and didn’t even go to the scene himself, simply sending someone in his place. 

Hearing this, Suzy’s expression grew colder. “They really planned everything perfectly.” 

No wonder Allen hadn’t shown up; he’d been under the impression she was safe. 

The more Allen thought about it, the angrier he became. “Damn it! If I ever find out who it was, I’ll carve their flesh off piece by piece and feed it to the dogs!” 

Suzy glanced at him. “Look into it and find out who saved me.” 

“You didn’t get out by yourself?” Allen was shocked. “The medical staff said you escaped 

on your own.” 

Hearing this, Suzy’s gaze grew even darker. “Someone saved me but didn’t want me to know. Why do you think that is?” 

Allen couldn’t make sense of it either. “We probably won’t know until we figure out who saved you.” 

Allen spent several days investigating who had rescued Suzy, but no leads surfaced.
