Allen shrugged. “I have no idea! Normally, I’d say no way. But that punk kissed her just now, and not only did she not push him away, she didn’t even get angry…”

Dylan said nothing more as he turned his wheelchair around, heading for the door. But just as he reached it, he abruptly spun back, wheeling himself swiftly toward Suzy. 

Before she could react, he grabbed her wrist, pulling her into his lap. Without hesitation, he cupped her face in his hands and kissed her.
