"What are you daydreaming about, grinning like that?" Micah frowned, snapping her back to reality.

There was no way she could let Micah know what she had been imagining. She quickly shook her head. "Nothing. Let’s pick up the pace."

Meanwhile, Nina was not too worried about getting separated from Micah and Freya. She knew they would not really lose track of each other and figured they probably needed some space. She and Nash strolled along, pausing to take pictures now and then.

In the distance, she spotted a film crew shooting a movie, which made her think of Nelly. Shen had gone on to become a famous director, and Penelope was now a well-known actress. In the beginning, they would send her messages frequently, but as everyone got busier, those messages became less frequent, though the friendship remained.

After this honeymoon, there were some things she needed to address.

"If you want to break into the entertainment industry, I can…" Nash’s deep, gentle voice trailed off in her ear.

Nina laughed. "I’m over thirty now. Wouldn’t that be a bit of a waste?"

"Going into entertainment doesn’t mean you have to act. You could be a producer, a director, or a screenwriter. Whatever you want," Nash replied, his tone full of unconditional support. As long as Nina wanted something, he would make it happen.

Nina smiled. "We’ll see when we get back."

"Take a look," Nash said, nodding ahead.

Nina followed his gaze and saw Micah and Freya. Freya was holding onto Micah’s arm, both of them chatting and smiling.

The thug Freya had sent to the police earlier had been released and returned with reinforcements. Now, he had Micah and Freya surrounded.

"You think you can just send me to the cops, trick me, and get away with it? Do you even know whose turf this is?" the thug sneered, clearly agitated.

Freya’s expression turned cold. "No, and I don’t care whose turf it is."

Despite Micah’s earlier warning about not underestimating local troublemakers, she was not about to back down, especially when they had come looking for a fight.

With a wave of the thug's hand, several men lunged at Micah and Freya.
