With the crowd growing around them, Freya seized the moment, raising her voice deliberately, "I just turned this guy over to the police not long ago, and less than an hour later, he's out here again with more people trying to pick a fight with us. What's going on? Is this a local crime syndicate?"

Her words drew the attention of even more onlookers, forcing the authorities to respond.

"We reprimanded him, had him write an apology and a statement of guarantee, but it seems he’s back at it, gathering people to cause trouble. Rest assured, we will eliminate any criminal forces and give everyone a proper explanation!" an officer declared.

To ensure the issue was fully addressed, Micah revealed his identity to the local authorities, making it clear that this would not be swept under the rug.

Freya felt a bit embarrassed. "I just saw that little girl and felt bad for her. I didn’t expect to drag us into this mess. I heard what you said earlier, and next time…"

"You don’t need to explain yourself. If you hadn’t stepped in, I probably would have," Micah reassured her.

He understood where she was coming from. After all, they were both the kind of people who could not stand by and do nothing.

Freya nodded earnestly. "But I’ll definitely think twice before acting next time."

Micah flicked her forehead lightly. "Alright, enough of that. If you’re done exploring, let’s go find Nina."

Freya lowered her gaze. Even though she had not said it out loud, Micah had voiced exactly what she was hoping for. If he agreed, nothing could make her happier.

"I have to admit, you’ve got some bold ideas," Micah said with a soft laugh, poking her forehead again.

Though a bit embarrassed, Freya could not back down now. She met his gaze, her eyes filled with hope. "Life’s short, you’ve got to dream a little. You’ve spent all this time with me, and I’m not so bad, right? Why not give it some thought?"
