Before she moved, they never went to work together, even though they worked at the same place- because Chase had avoided her. Now they actually met two days in a row. Chase was 25 handsome and composed as ever, colder than ever towards her. He just glanced at her and looked away. Ashley shortly greeted him and entered the office. She didn’t care about Chase and Tanya anymore. She just focused on work. 

At noon, Ashley got a call from her grandma, Amanda. “Ashley, someone sent me a whole sheep. It’s getting colder; come home for dinner. I’ll have them make you a feast of sheep 

hley felt warm.“Okay, I’ll be home after work.” 

She didn’t see Chase again that day. As she was about to leave, Justin gave her a file and said it was urgent. She read it and then understood it wasn’t urgent. In the past, she would accept it without hesitation because she always wanted to be perfect. But today, she was too tired. She wanted to go home Immediately. She didn’t want to maintain a good relationship with Chase’s assistants anymore, especially after Justin unjustly accused her yesterday. 

She looked at Justin coldly. “I won’t do this. I’m leaving.”
