Tanya’s typing faltered. Ashley was undeniably beautiful. She initially assumed Ren Jifeng was interested in her. But remembering the auction incident and his current demeanor, she realized she was wrong.

“Not really,” she replied, her expression neutral.“Why?”

Ren Jifeng glanced at Ashley and Tim.“She seems quite capable, judging by her interaction with Mr. Reed.”

Tanya said flatly, “I’m not sure, but I heard she only has a “Only a bachelor’s?”

Ren Jifeng, seeing Tim looking their way, assumed he was admiring Tanya and that Ashley had pulled him away, angry at his attention towards Tanya.

Tanya encountered a problem, pausing her work. She looked towards Tim but saw him and the XunDu technicians intently listening to Ashley. It looked as if Ashley was some kind of technical genius. She looked away.
