"Lewis... there's nothing we can do... clinically shes..." Dr Saki placed a hand on my shoulder while trying to stall my movement's, but it was no use. I had entered a state of irrational thinking.

"She's not... she's not. She can't be." I felt like gravity had suddenly stopped being kind to me, as my shaking legs gave in, and I went crashing to the floor beside my mates bed. The doctors were right... Dylan was dead, she'd been dead for far too long, and there was no coming back from that.

My eyes streamed, my mouth released sob after sob, my hands shook and my hope dwindled by the seconds. She was gone.

My outward grief lasted over an hour, and I threatened anyone that dared to attempt to move Dylan.

In the end everyone disbanded in order to actually help the people that were able to receive it, only Trina, and Ryan stayed. Watching to make sure I didn't do anything harmful to myself.

"Luna?" A quiet Dr Bennet made himself known to the two of us, and Trina snapped to him as fast as lightening. "Alpha Gilliard has woken up." Gill?

My own distraught features turned to Trina who looked exhausted, I had been too consumed by my own grief that I never thought to ask her why she was crying in the first place. I had been selfish.

"He's awake?!" She exclaimed, running to one of the RVs outside the medical tent without so much as a single glance back.

"Gilliard is here?" My voice was rough, taking on a croaky sound after breaking down the way I did.
