Nyx raised an eyebrow in confusion..

at home?”

Nyx was lying on her back, staring up at the ceiling. She had hidden under the covers for a while, planning to surprise him, her face flushed with a bright rosy hue. 

Kai wasn’t startled, but he was certainly very surprised. His emerald eyes darkened, and his heart started to race. He quickly reached for the half–empty bottle of birth control pills at the bedside.

“Don’t take it.” Nyx grabbed his wrist. 

She raised her hand to wrap around Kai’s neck, leaned close to his ear, and spoke softly, “I want to take a more perfect family 

Kai froze in his actions, stunned. He thought. ‘So Nyx meant to have a little leopard? with me” 

If they really had a little leopard, there would be a bond of blood between Nyx and him. The cub would carry both of their blood, proof that they had loved each other. No male would ever refuse such a beautiful thing 

Nyx could hear Kai’s breathing become heavier, meaning he was moved by the idea. She smoothly took the medicine bottle from his hand and tossed it aside. The bottle didn’t land properly and rolled to the ground, but no one cared. 

Kai tightly embraced Nyx, accepting her proposal without hesitation. 

Based on Nyx’s past experiences, as long as she wanted a cub, it only took one attempt to get what she desired. 

It was normal not to detect anything within the first few days, but by the sixth or seventh day, and even a week later, when the check–up results still showed no pregnancy, Nyx couldn’t help but feel confused.
