Chapter 99 

The leopard was very alert. Even in front of Nyx, he didn’t show much trust, with his ears always perked up, vigilant. It seemed like as soon as there was any movement, he would disappear right on the spot. 

If it weren’t for Nyx’s irresistible charm, he would never have been so easily hooked. That night, he saw a few guys lying on her lap, and he felt a twinge of jealousy. 

And now, after his persistent pursuit, she had finally given him a chance. The leopard couldn’t hold back his excitement and burrowed his head into Nyx’s arms.

The leopard roared in disbelief, snarling, as if betrayed. His emerald eyes gleamed with hatred. He opened his large mouth, ready to bite the female, but when he got close, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. 

The leopard retracted his teeth, avoiding her vulnerable neck, and instead lowered his head to lick Nyx twice, as if marking her as his own. 

Though his tongue had barbs, Nyx wasn’t injured due to the clothes between them, but she inhaled sharply, instinctively loosening her grip and clutching her clothes tightly. 

The leopard avoided her neck and chose a more delicate spot. The naive leopard thought the female was indeed soft, while Nyx’s face turned bright red. “Pervert!” 

Seizing the opportunity when she loosened her grip, the leopard immediately jumped out of the window and fled. 

The guardians rushed into the bedroom, leaving Zayne to comfort Nyx, while the two male lions chased after the leopard, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

After breakfast, Nyx’s mood calmed a little, and she stopped Theon from chopping down the trees. The trees in the estate were growing beautifully; it would be a pity to cut them down. 

The leopard had already set his sights on her and would surely come after her again. 

This time, it was her own recklessness, next time, she should try to hold the leopard off first, use Mental Soothing to at least calm him for a moment, then call someone to restrain him. 

“Next time, we’ll catch him, Nyx comforted the frustrated Theon.

To relax, Nyx gave herself a half–day break. In the afternoon, she went out to stroll the streets with Theon. Going on a date with Nyx made Theon overjoyed. He threw all his worries aside, tightly holding Nyx’s hand. 

“Do you want to eat that, Nyx? Theon noticed Nyx staring at a stall selling ice cream and leaned down to ask her. 

Nyx blinked, nodded in agreement. Actually, she had a vague feeling that someone’s scorching gaze was fixed on her, but it wasn’t directed at the stall 

However, when Theon asked, she actually felt like eating it. As for that gaze, maybe it was just an overly enthusiastic fan. When out and about, she couldn’t avoid being stared at, but she had gotten used to it. 

Anyway, with Theon around, even the most enthusiastic fan wouldn’t dare to approach and disturbs her.

The crowd gasped.

“Such terrifying speed–Is this really a leopard?”
