"Fuck, Margery. You were only going to go to the washroom. How did you go missing? You almost scared me to death! I had to go up and down the stairs before I finally found you."

When he saw her drunk and rolling on the floor, Melvin understood everything. He rushed up to hold her and walked downstairs. He muttered, "It was just the two of us drinking together, yet you became this drunk. I don't know what to say to you! I know that you are in a bad mood and you want to use alcohol to drown your sorrows, but if you have low tolerance, then you shouldn't drink at all. Do you understand? You are lucky that I'm a good person and I don't have any dirty thoughts about you. If I were a different guy, you wouldn't even know how you died."

"Oh."

Margery nodded obediently and covered her lips with her long fingers. She burped lightly, looked up, and smiled at him. "Brother Melvin, I, I just ran into Golden! I swore at him and scratched him... In the past, I bore with him for a long time, but in the future, I won't bear with him anymore. I'll swear at him and beat him up every time I see him! It feels good to not bear with him!"

"Really? Golden is inhuman and evil. Would he let you swear at him and beat him up?"

Melvin snorted. When he saw that she was about to lie through her teeth, he hurried coaxed her, "Okay, okay, okay. As long as you had fun."

He believed that everything she said was nonsense and drunk talk that he could not trust at all.

Melvin helped Margery, who was drunk, and walked to the counter to pay. He took her back to Sunshine Community with no complaints, put her on the big bed in the bedroom, and cleaned her face. Afterward, he fell on the sofa in the living room, too tired to get up.

Margery suddenly woke up and slowly opened her eyes. As soon as she opened her eyes, she met Melvin's concerned gaze. "You're awake? Do you feel better?"

Margery replied in a daze. She took half a glass of water from his hand and finished drinking. She slowly sat up in bed and rubbed her sore forehead while speaking in a hoarse voice, "Weren't we eating in the restaurant? How come we're back?"

She was going to go to the washroom, but then there were too many people on the second floor, so she went to the third floor and ran into a man who looked like Golden, and later...

She had no memory of what happened afterward.

"You were completely drunk. I brought you back personally."

Melvin pointed to the huge dark circles on his face. With a glum face, he groaned, "You were drunk. You cried, laughed, and made trouble. You even beat me up that I couldn't sleep at all last night. If I knew that you had low tolerance, I wouldn't have let you drink a drop no matter what."

Margery rubbed her glabella sightly. When she saw bruises that looked like a slap mark on Melvin's face, her face went blank, and she felt a bit guilty. "I'm sorry, Brother Melvin."

"No worries. It doesn't hurt at all. You barely have any strength, so it only felt like a mosquito bite."

Melvin smiled and waved his hand. He rubbed his face and said solemnly, "Zola called and said that the hospital is officially opened today. Golden and Vivian, that asshole and bitch couple, have you figured out how to deal with them?"

"How to deal with them… I figured it out a long time ago."

Margery curled her lips and smiled lightly before her face gradually became cold and sent chills so powerful that Melvin could not help but shiver.

After having Melvin stay for breakfast, Margery kicked him out and drove Ethan and Bonnie to kindergarten.

She was too busy with hospital affairs that she had no choice but to send the two children into kindergarten boarding school. She would drop them off on Monday morning and pick them up on Friday afternoon.

The kindergarten was very lively on Monday.

Margery got out of the car and walked in while holding hands with the two children. After taking a couple of steps, she saw a black Bentley drive past behind her.

The car was low-key and luxurious, which looked familiar to her for some reason.

She turned her head slightly and looked to see a cute little black head in her sight, which flashed by with the Bentley.
