Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Crippled Luna's Farewell Half A Life Without My Alpha's Deadly Deception. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to CRIPPLED LUNA’S FAREWELL 10. Let's read the author's Crippled Luna's Farewell Half A Life Without My Alpha's Deadly Deception Internet story right here.
Chapter 10
His parents‘ triumphant expressions pierced his heart like wolfsbane. Every time he’d questioned Alexandra about her supposed mate in the Northern Territories, she’d deflected, never sharing details of their meeting. Her pack links showed no trace of another mate’s scent.
What a fool he’d been, blind to her web of lies until now. And in his desperation to claim Rose, he’d destroyed his intended mate…
Sarah had no pack ties here. She’d stayed for him alone. He’d sworn to be her strength, promised their mate–bond would never break.
What had he done?
Guilt and regret tore at his wolf spirit. Finally, his voice emerged, cold as a winter moon:
“Sarah is my only mate.”
“Living or dead, she alone will wear my mark.”
“Alexandra’s status means nothing to me now.”
“That night three years ago was a mistake. Had I known about Rose, I would never have entangled
our bloodlines!”
“If you want this false ceremony, finish it yourselves.”
“My mate–I’ll tear apart the territories to find her!”
Before he could leave the sacred grounds, Alexandra rushed forward, clutching Rose.
“Ethan! Rose cut herself on a ceremonial chalice. She needs healing. Where are you going?”
Blood dripped from Rose’s small arm as Ethan’s phone howled–his Beta calling.
Without looking at Alexandra, he growled: “Take pack transport. The Elders will raise the pup now.”
He answered his Beta the moment he cleared the grounds. “Any trace of her?”
His Beta’s sigh carried heavy through the bond. “Alpha, we’ve searched every territory. We found her scent at a neutral grounds hotel two nights ago, then at the sky port. Nothing else. The rescue packs say… they say the bodies might surface soon…”
