Maya said I had barely made it–two more days, and my wolf would have been permanently crippled. But under Maya’s meticulous care, I gradually recovered, 

Though my body grew stronger, Ethan’s conversation with Elder Mitchell still echoed in my ears 

“The fertility binding must be absolute. She can never know.” 

I had lost my ability to bear children. This fact lay buried in the depths of my heart like a stone, 

immovable and cold. 

With Maya’s help, I settled in the Northern Frost Pack. My wolf gradually regained strength, and my body began to feel sensation again. During that time, I learned to rebuild my confidence and reclaim 

the dreams I had once abandoned. 

The Northern Frost Pack was warmer than I had imagined. My diplomatic talents and language abilities were valued here, and I began to make my mark in the pack’s external affairs. 

However, nightmares still followed me. 

“Sarah, there are hunters lurking at the border,” Maya hurriedly told me one night. “They’re from the Mooncliff Pack, carrying your scent. Ethan is still looking for you.” 

My heart sank. Even after I had faked my death, Ethan refused to let me go. Moon Goddess knows what my life would become if he found me and took me back. 

It was time to leave again. I couldn’t risk putting Maya and her pack in danger. 

“I need to disappear,” I told Maya, “to a place where Ethan can never find me.“Maya nodded in understanding, helping me arrange everything.“Silver Moon Pack,” she suggested. 

“It’s powerful and independent, with almost no connection to the Mooncliff Pack. You can start anew 

there.” 

And so I left the pack that had given me shelter, heading toward a brand new world. In the Silver Moon Pack, no one knew my past. I could start over, become anyone I wanted to be. My experience and abilities quickly secured me a position in the pack, responsible for border patrol–a dangerous but important task.

It was a stormy night. I prowling through the woods, tracking a group of intruders. I was injured, trapped on the edge of a steep cliff. That’s when a massive golden wolf emerged from the darkness, driving away the intruders with astonishing speed and power.

Initially, I rejected the connection. But Arnold–unlike Ethan–didn’t force me. He respected my boundaries, giving me time to adjust to this new possibility. His patience and understanding gradually melted the ice walls I had built. 

Slowly, I began to believe in the possibility of loving again. 

When we finally held our Moonbinding ceremony, the entire Silver Moon Pack came to bless us. 

That night, under the full moon, my wolf and his wolf ran across the vast forest, free and powerful I 

seemed to have finally found my true home. 

However, there was a void in my heart that couldn’t be filled–I couldn’t bear children. But fate 

arranged another turning point for me. 

During a border patrol, we discovered an abandoned wolf cub–a little boy, no more than a few 

months old. His pack had been attacked by rogues, his parents sacrificing themselves to protect him. 

When I held that small life, feeling his heartbeat synchronize with mine, I knew the Moon Goddess 

had given me a second chance. 

We adopted the boy, naming him Alex. He had golden hair and keen senses, like a born Alpha heir. I threw myself wholeheartedly into raising him, striving to be a good mother. Every time he called me “Mom,” my heart filled with unspeakable joy.
