The winding mountain road is a common spot for young people to use as a night–time racetrack, especially around the tight bends. 

Maja had just mentioned this road, adding that Glenn often raced there. 

The implication was if anything happened to him, he’d have no one to blame but himself. 

The driver drifted smoothly around several bends. 

Glenn, with bloodshot eyes, pushed the pedal to the metal. Seeing his location becoming more and more remote, he could barely contain his laughter. Maja had no clue what she was getting herself into. Now, being so far from the city, he could seize the opportunity to take advantage of her if she was forced to stop. 

He turned the steering wheel when the car passed a sharp turn, but that caused his car to skid out of control. 

Glenn’s pupils contracted in fear, and the strong impact hit him. 

Before his car plunged off the cliff, he managed to leap out, but it still felt like both his legs were broken. 

Blinding pain shot through him, rendering him unconscious. 

The driver in front saw that the car behind hadn’t caught up. He knew something must’ve happened. 

He turned around and took a different route back, dialing Maja’s number.

Maja, sitting in her car, heard these words. Her lips tightened, and her throat was dry. 

“All right, I got it.” 

It was Maja’s first time setting a trap. 

Glenn’s revenge was so intense that it was seriously affecting her life. She couldn’t let him bully her anymore. 

And she had given him opportunities. 

It was his own fault, blinded by hatred. 

When both cars were about to return to Rosewood Manor, Maja worried about lan being there, so she switched back to her own car and planned to return to RosenGarden. 

It was already nine o’clock at night. 

She checked her phone and found a missed call from lan; she hadn’t answered it due to the Glenn. 

Maja immediately dialed back.
