Maja and Shawn had already left the shopping mall and they were still discussing the box office earnings. 

“Penny, the box office prediction has already hit 300 million. My worth is definitely going to skyrocket after this movie.” 

There was a little color on his face, “I’ll make a killing for Star Movie group.” 

Maja gently patted his car door, “Go home and get some rest. I’ll be hustling for some other resources.”

It was only after Shawn drove off that Maja turned around to get in her car. 

But before she could, two guys rushed from behind and grabbed her by the neck. 

This was right outside a busy shopping mall. 

Maja was about to scream and call out for help when she was hit hard at the back of the neck and passed out. 

Forty minutes later. 

Someone threw a bucket of water on her head. 

She slowly opened her eyes and looked around. 

Funfly was sitting on a chair, looking down at her. 

“Penny, long time no see.” 

Maja initially thought Funfly had come after her because of the Harden situation. After all, Harden was up the creek without a paddle, he might have to skip town. Funfly played dirty and she was ruthless. 

Maja was tied up and unable to fight back. 

“Penny, you used to ride on lan’s coattails and always messed with my plans. Now lan’s lost interest in you, nobody is going to come to your rescue.” 

Funfly swung the whip at her without any hesitation. 

Maja was wearing a thick coat, the whip just ripped through her down jacket, sending some feathers flying. 

Funfly seemed to notice that and signaled her bodyguard: 

“Strip her. I want her naked. Then whip her fifty times.” 

If she really got whipped fifty times, Maja would be black and blue all over her body. 

And these wounds won’t heal easily. Even if they did, they’d leave scars all over.
