Maja didn’t want to say another word. Whatever Feynman and Jean wanted to regret or resent, that was their business. Jean’s uncontrollable sobbing echoed from behind her. But Erlinda was already gone, and crying wouldn’t change that. Jean helped Feynman into the house, and they both looked like they had aged years in just a few moments. 

She splashed some cold water on Feynman’s face to help him sober up. 

For the first time ever, they were silent, with no words spoken between them. 

The next day, they seemed to have regained a little energy, but they were still shell–shocked by the events of the previous day. “That Penny might just be blowing smoke.” 

“Erlinda always treated us with respect.” 

Their conversations were flat and no one wanted to take the blame for their daughter’s death.. 

Until Nolan called saying none of the three scripts were selected. 

“I know you’re hurting, but I’m sorry about this.” 

Feynman’s grip on the phone tightened. Remembering the tape he had heard, he wished he could tear Nolan apart!

Jean finally lost her temper and started yelling.

But Feynman had already hung up the phone before she lost her cool. 

Jean looked at her helpless husband, her heart filled with sorrow. 

Meanwhile, Maja had made several backups of the scripts and applied for copyrights. 

She found out that all three scripts were sold to Funfly for nearly ten million. 

Maja also told Meetman that the funds and crew were ready, and they could start filming anytime. 

But Funfly was just starting to prepare. 

A smirk formed on her lips. Simstar Entertainment was good at making a buzz, so they didn’t need to go out to look for the script which Simstar would film first, they could just look at the trending topics. Thus, they found out that they would be filming The Storm first. 

So Maja called Meetman. 

“We’ll film The Storm first and try to air it while we’re still filming. This way we can. beat Simstar Entertainment before they even get started.” 

However, all the trending topics and ads that Simstar Entertainment bought for The Storm would end up benefiting S.M. 

Thinking of Nolan and Funfly’s outraged faces when they find out the truth, Maja couldn’t help but smirk. 

All they had to do now was wait for the web drama to air. But she didn’t want to sit idle, so she posted an anonymous post online hinting that Nolan stole a student’s work and claimed it as his own without paying the student anything for it. 

This was linked to Erlinda’s suicide, so it immediately attracted a lot of attention and quickly rose to the second spot on the trending topics. 

The first spot was obviously still Erlinda’s suicide. 

When Nolan saw the trending topic, he was scared out of his wits. 

He immediately called Funfly, asking her to take down the trending topic. 

But then he received a recording on his phone. 

It was too familiar. It was the event that took place in his office that day. 

He had deeply insulted Erlinda and even took a few minutes to vent his feelings.

And a message was sent to him.
