The elevator stopped halfway, and a young couple stepped in. But the sight of three men holding knives with menacing looks made them leave in a hurry. “Scram!” 

The elevator was heading to the nineteenth floor, where there were rooms for rent. They planned to toy with the beautiful woman until she was dead. Hired by Nolan, these men were tasked to take explicit photos of Maja. 

They didn’t expect Maja to be this beautiful, so much so that they could hardly keep their hands off her in the elevator. 

All three men were tall and muscular, and they looked scary. 

Maja saw her own eyes shrinking in fear through the reflective wall. 

Her pants were about to be pulled off, and the men still verbally abused her: 

“She’s such a slut! So beautiful, she must have been played by many.” 

“We’ve hit the jackpot tonight, cash to grab and a woman to play.” 

“Enough talk, just strip her pants off.” 

Winter clothes were hard to strip off. Maja bit one of the men hard and got slapped in return. 

She took a breath, tasting the metallic tang of blood in her mouth. 

“You wanted to die?!” 

He grabbed her hair and slammed her head against the wall!. 

Just then, the elevator door opened. Ian, on the phone, saw what was happening inside.

The men saw him, too. “What are you looking at? Fuck off! Don’t mess with our fun!” 

lan ignored them and looked at Maja. 

Blood was all over Maja’s forehead, and her pants were already half off. 

He felt a rage like never before. He was fuming. 

Swiftly, he kicked the guy holding Maja, smashing his head against the wall and knocking out his teeth. 

Maja only sensed a familiar scent rushing towards her. His foot didn’t hesitate to kick the guy’s head, making him silent instantly. In the narrow elevator, lan’s aura was more terrifying than a demon’s. 

His overwhelming presence had the other two men shaking in fear. 

They loved to verbally abuse before assaulting. But this man didn’t say a word and took down their leader in less than three seconds. 

Just as they thought to fight back, they felt a sharp pain in their scalps. 

“Bam bam bam!” 

Their heads banged against the wall several times, and they passed out. 

The whole process took less than half a minute. 

The elevator was filled with the smell of blood, making Maja want to vomit. 

She had just had some alcohol, her head was spinning, and all she could see was a blur. 

lan looked at the bloodstain on the tip of his shoe, his brows furrowed. 

He picked up a phone from the side; the call was still ongoing, and Tyler was anxiously shouting on the other end. 

“Are you okay? Are you okay?! God, who the hell dares to mess with you?!” 

lan hung up the call and helped Maja, who was curled up in the corner. 

Maja was still shaking slightly, partly from the pain and partly from the fear of being violated. 

lan helped her down to his car. 

This time, he didn’t ask where to go; instead, he just set the navigation to RosenGarden. 

Upon arrival, Jeff called to say that the business partner was already waiting. 

“Cancel it.” 

He held Maja in his arms and calmly said, “There was an incident tonight. Someone needs to clean up the elevator.” 

After hanging up, he softly asked Maja, “Which floor do you live on?” 

Maja felt dizzy; her consciousness was slowly returning, but her thoughts were still confused. 

She couldn’t answer. 

The next second, Jan gently lifted her chin and used his sleeve to wipe the blood off her forehead. 

Her forehead wasn’t seriously injured, just slightly swollen, and the skin was cut. The blood was still flowing, quite a scary sight. 

The bloodstains got onto his high–end suit, but he didn’t care at all. 

After cleaning her face, he saw the slap mark on her cheek. 

lan could only feel his teeth grinding loudly, the rage still coursing through his body, unable to dissipate. 

He wished he could deal with those bastards one by one! 

He didn’t want to lose his temper with her, but his heart was still trembling; fear and panic filled every cell of his body.
