Linda was the one who sent them. A few photos had come through, and both she and Chloe were dressed head to toe in white. Linda was in her wedding dress, while Chloe was rocking a bridesmaid's dress that could easily rival the bridal gown in design and fabric.

Together, they looked like they belonged on a magazine cover—complementing each other perfectly, like the sun and the moon sharing the sky. Chloe had just mentioned she’d be a bridesmaid for Linda, but for some reason, Connor felt a strange unease when he looked at the photo.
