Don't get close to me (Linda and Beast) novel Chapter 40

I was sitting on the porch reading a book when three bikes rode into the compound. I watched as three big, handsome men got off. They looked over at me and smiled before walking over to talk to Scar.

"Who is the new whore?"

"She is not a whore. Her name is Shawn. She is Spiders wife."

"The one that was taken?"

"Yes, and she was hurt bad."

"She needs three more bodyguards. Play your cards right and you three can have the job."

I stood up and walked down the stair. I saw something at the edge of the woods. I walked toward the woods. "Shawn, where are you going," Scar asked.

"I saw something over here. I am going to find out what it is."

"Not without me."

"Scare, and the three men followed me."

"I bend down and lifted a german Shepard puppie."

I looked around but didn't see any others or its mom. I carried him back toward the club. I walked over to show Spider. We all followed her. She is so tiny and looks so scared.

"Spider, can I keep him?"

"Where did you get him, Shawn?"

"At the edge of the woods."

"Sure, I don't see why not"

I reached up and kissed his cheek. "Thank you,"

I sat down in the grass and played with the pup. I looked over at the three men watching me.

"Hello, who are you?"

"I am scars older brother, they call me, Shadow, I am one of his friends, this is my twin brother. They call me, Player, and they call my brother there, Joker."

"I am Shawn. I am Spider's wife."

"We know. We are glad you are back home."

"I like you guys."

I looked at Scar. I saw them look over at him as well. I stood up and then felt something hit me in the shoulder. I looked down and then over to Scar.

"Scar, I am bleeding" Then everything went black.

I caught Shawn in my arms yelling for Spider. Grab her puppy I yelled. I ran with her toward the club. "Shawn has been shot."

I ran from the garage following Scar, Joker, Shadow, and Player into the club. I ran down the hall and doc told me I could not come in.

I walked back to the bar and looked at the pup in Shadow's hands. "Find a box for the pup, then get him some milk."

"Where did Scar go?" I asked.

"To find out where that shot came from. We didn't even hear it. They must have had a silencer on the gun?" Player said.

I found the tracks. I followed them from behind the garage to the road. A bike was waiting for the person. I continued to search then walked back and looked at the tire marks. I knew those treads.

I hurried back to the club. I grabbed Cutter. "Cutter, I found tire marks. They belong to that son of a bitch, that called, Shawn a bitch."

"The one you beat the shit out of?"

"Yes,"

I showed Cutter the picture. We started looking at the tires of that bastard's bike. We looked at each other than the club.

"We need to get Silver and you two take that bastard to the cells. I will tell Spider as soon as Shawn is stable."
