Ace was taking me to Rage's Clubhouse. I don't want to go but I have to. At least my brother will be with me. He won't let Spider near me.

I dosed off and Ace woke me as soon as he turned the truck off.

"Ace, you will stay in the room with me won't you?"

"Yes, I will stay with you."

He lifted me out of the truck and carried our suitcases into the club. A big handsome man met us at the door.

"You must be Shawn, and Ace her brother."

"Yes, I figured you would want your brother with you so I put you in the same bedroom."

"Thank you." Shawn said.

"come and sit down. My name is Rage. I am the president here."

"Would you like something to drink?"

"Coffee two creams for me. I will take a beer." Ace told Rage.

"Thank you for coming early. I wanted to get to know you."

"You will not be harmed here. And Spider will not get to talk to you."

"Thank you for that."

We talked for a long time. As I listened to her I realized why Spider wanted her back. She is intelligent, beautiful, and has a great body. Even though she is six months pregnant.

No way in hell will I let Spider have her or that baby. It was getting late so Ace and I went to our bedroom. I took a shower first and was laying in bed when Ace walked in wearing shorts.

"Ace, I am scared."

"Of what?"

"That I will have to go back to Spider or give him my baby."

"Shawn, that is not going to happen."

"What else are you scared of?"

"That I have to be claimed."

"Are you scared of Horse or Blade?"

"No, but what if one of their names is not drawn."

"Look, Shawn. All the presidents that put their name in are good men. None of them would ever hurt you."

"So don't worry about it."

"Now come here and lay down."

I lay my head on my brothers chest and fell asleep. I slept well for the first time in a long time. I did not wake up until around noon.

For the next two days I talked with Rage. We took walks over to see the animals, and throw the woods. He told me what to expect tomarrow. He apologized about the claiming.

He told me that it would keep me safe and Spider would not touch me. I sighed. "Are you going to be alright?"

"Yes, I will be fine."

"Good. Now I will take you back to your brother."

We walked back to the club and over to the table. I was worried. I knew that there was nothing I could do about any of this. I grew up in the biker world.

I looked up to see a lot of presidents walking in the door. I grabbed Ace's hand. They were all introduced to me and then they walked over and sat at other tables.
