"Oh but never bump into me again next time. Watch where your going. Never get in my way." He said in a serious manner.
My heart stopped and I just gave him a nod. I certainly didn't want this to happen again. I didn't want to die yet. He turned and walked out of my sight.
Wow, he went from laughing to serious real quick.
"Uh, yeah, okay. I'm really sorry, Dylan." I found myself apologising to nobody.
I hate myself for being too kind sometimes. Thank goodness he was already gone. Opening my locker, I put all my things away.
On my way to meet Ella, I walked past people on their phones and couples flirting with each other. My mind was still racing about what had just happened.
I saw Sophie walking with the cheerleaders just ahead of me.
Oh and by the way, you might be wondering why Sophie doesn't really sit with Ella and I. That's because you know how she says she's popular and that? She sits with the cheerleaders. I also forgot to tell you that.
Moving on... I went to the cafeteria to see Ella waving at me. I smiled and waved back a little.
"Kim! Over here!" Her faint voice travelled along the cafeteria. Her long arm was still waving at me from the distance.
I was on my way to Ella when a football flew across my face causing me to almost fall.
I shut my eyes closed and waited 'til I hit the ground, which didn't happen, much to my surprise.
Slowly opening my eyes, I saw Daniel's face. He had a worried look on his face. Ha, yeah right. As if he'd ever be worried for anyone except his beautiful face.
"Kathy! Are you alright? Look I'm really sorry about what happened!" Daniel apologized. Shooting a curly-haired guy a glare.
"Its okay, its okay. Thank you for... Saving me?" I replied with a nervous laugh.
What is happening to me? Me nervous just because of Daniel saving me?
But I can't believe he knows my name. Like how did he know? Arrgh, no. Stop. Why am I even thinking about this? I shouldn't be happy that he knows my name. Okay, deep breaths.
I stood up straight when I heard other girls murmuring about what just happened how, "Daniel is such a hero for saving her."
Well I guess they were right. But the least I could've gotten was a headache or a sore back for the rest of the day, so it shouldn't matter that much.
"Look, um, you're probably still light-headed, so let me walk you to where you were going," he offered kindly.
