Bella's legal letter took the plagiarism incident to a new level.

Even the official statement from the Starlight Jewelry Competition permanently blacklisted me from the competition.

However, there was still no response from the Century Jewelry Competition.

Shortly after Bella's legal letter was sent, Jacob called.

I answered the call calmly, recording the conversation.

"Aurelia, what the hell are you doing? Who allowed you to use that design draft for the competition?" Jacob is raging on the other end of the phone.

I had no expectations left for this person and replied calmly, "I drew the design draft. Can't I use it?"

Jacob is furious. "But you didn't say you were going to use it for the competition!"

My eyes flashed. "As far as I can remember I didn't promise to give the design draft to Bella, did I? Moreover, it's my design draft, not hers. Don't I, the creator, have the full rights to use it?"

Hearing this, Jacob's tone softened a bit, "Aurelia, you have to understand and be reminded that Bella's value is much more important than yours in Trifleming Jewelry. What you're doing will ruin Trifleming Jewelry!"

I sneered, it was probably not about Trifleming Jewelry but about Jacob himself!

Jacob continued to persuade, "Listen to me. We will hold a press conference later. At the press conference, you are going to admit to plagiarizing Bella's work, and if you do so, I'll ask her to withdraw the lawsuit. After all, you're going to be a full-time housewife in the future, so it won't affect you at all!"

I didn't think people could be shameless to this extent. "Jacob, if I admit to plagiarism, all competitions will blacklist me. How can you say such things?"

Jacob seemed desperate. "Even if you get blacklisted, it's still better than Bella being blacklisted. She is much more valuable to the company than you, with all of her awards and recognitions. Don't you have any sense of self-worth? Let me tell you this - if you still want to be with me, listen to me, and admit to plagiarizing Aurelia's work at the press conference, and that's it!"

My eyes rolled when Jacob finished speaking. "Fine! I'll be there!" I said.

Jacob finally relaxed, "The press conference is at 10 o'clock. Don't be late, Aurelia, I'm doing this for our future together. You have to understand, so please!"

I didn't want to hear any more of his nauseating words. "I'll be there on time!" I said before hanging up the phone.

I used the phone for quite a while, and five minutes before the press conference, a post debunking the whole ordeal, with images and videos backing the claims, quietly appeared online.

The assistant looked at the CEO, "Mr. Strakovski, Miss Aurelia has posted something!"

Lukas stood up, "One minute before the press conference, help her increase her popularity as much as possible and maintain the hype! I'll go out for a moment!"
