Brian slowly turned his head to look at her.

He had a blank look on his face. Grace was stunned on the spot.

The doctor said, "Take him for a brain CT scan first."

Brian looked at him with fear in her eyes, then at Grace. He shook Grace's arm. "I don't want an injection."

Grace patted his head and comforted him. "It's just a checkup. The doctor won't give you an injection."

Grace was a little puzzled. Brian had lost his memory, and that made sense. However, why had his personality changed?

"Are you sure I won't get an injection?" Brian looked at her and asked.

Grace patiently spoke as if she was coaxing a child, "No, you won't."

"Then you have to come with me."

"Okay."

"Are you my wife?" Brian asked carefully.

Grace almost choked on her saliva. "Who told you that I'm your wife?"

"I heard it myself," Brian said confidently. "I heard you tell the doctor that I'm your husband."

Grace massaged her throbbing temples. Since Brian had lost his memory, she would not argue with him.

Brian happily grinned as if he had found a treasure.

It was the first time Grace had seen Brian smile from the bottom of his heart.

"Honey, come and sleep with me." Brian turned his body and moved aside, leaving half the bed for Grace.
