Chapter 1364 

Emily’s heart started racing and she nodded nonchalantly, heading towards the room. 

She was indeed a bit tired, feeling much better only after taking a shower 

With Charlie at home, she didn’t dare to wear her pajamas. She changed into a simple and comfy attire and checked herself in the mirror to make sure everything was alright before stepping out of the room. 

Seeing Emily heading into the bedroom, Charlie said, “Kya, play by yourself for a bit. I’m going to help Emily dry her hair 

Kya obediently nodded, “I’m going to build a big castle for Emily.” 

“Good, I’ll bring her over to see it later” Charlie patted Kya’s head before heading to the master bedroom. 

Emily was drying her hair on the balcony when suddenly, the hairdryer was taken over by someone. A familiar scent surrounded her. 

Emily tensed up, turning around to face Charlie, “I can do it myself” 

“Don’t move. I want to take care of you, so cooperate a bit Charlie smiled gently, pressing Emily’s shoulder and lightly tousling her hair 

Her hair was thick and soft to the touch, with the scent of her shower gel wafting around, making him soften his expression. 

His gaze occasionally swept over her pure and gentle face. After the shower, her cheeks seemed even more rosy, her long eyelashes trembling slightly 

He had encountered pure girls before, but as time went on, they didn’t seem so special anymore 

His feelings for Emily were not just a novelty. She simply made him feel very comfortable. Just one look, and he wanted to get close to her. 

If he were too far from Emily, he would feel an emptiness in his heart, a kind of inexplicable loss and heartache. 

Her long hair in his hands, Charlie’s palm tightened slightly, wanting to have her completely in his control. 

Emily lowered her head, her obedient demeanor left Charlie very satisfied. 

“Done yet?” Emily asked softly 

Charlie turned off the hairdryer and put it in the cabinet. The length of her hair slid onto her shoulders. Raising her chin with one hand, he had a mischievous smile on his face, “How about a little reward for me?” 

Emily had anticipated his move. Just as she was about to retreat, a pinch on her chin made her wince, and Charlie had already leaned down to kiss her. Charlie’s kiss was hurried, and Emily instinctively took a step back, leaning against the warm glass of the balcony. The heat spread throughout her body from the back 

Charlie quickly leaned in, one hand holding her chin, and the other propping against the glass, kissing her sometimes eagerly, sometimes gently. 

He was a skilled kisser. Emily’s mind went blank, forced to follow his rhythm. Even after knowing she shouldn’t be doing this, she was unable to resist 

Her hair slipped from his hands and Charlie lifted it, holding her face, kissing her even deeper. 

The setting sun was about to fall at the edge of the city. The dark red light shone on the glass, reflecting onto his dark shirt, radiating a strong glow. 

Night was about to fall. 

Suddenly, the doorbell rang loudly. Emily snapped back to her senses, opening her eyes to see Charlie’s deep and burning gaze. The concentration and affection in his eyes made her unable to escape.
