Chapter 1651

“Norah works at the Chambers family’s company, as I’ve told you before, Janice spoke softly.

I’ve met Adrian Chambers” Catherine chuckled. “Handsome, quite and seems like a good match for our Norah.”

Geoffrey Lamont nodded, “If you’re in a relationship with Adrian, then bring him home to meet us. The Chambers family has a good reputation. If they have intentions, it will be best for you two to get married sooner”

Before Norah could speak, the others began discussing her and Adrian as if it were a foregone conclusion.

She hurriedly interjected, “Hold on! Who said I’m with Adrian? I’m currently helping him out at his company, but it’s not what you think!”

“Not with Adrian?” Janice exclaimed in surprise. “Then who is it?”

Norah almost blurted out the truth, but she caught herself in time, it’s no one. I’m not dating anyone, you’re all jumping to conclusions.” “Really?” Janice remained skeptical.

“We’re all family here, no need to hide anything?” Henson sneered dismissively

“Hide what? I didn’t hide anything!” Norah shot Henson a glare, and then quickly stood up, I’m going to the restroom, you guys go ahead.”

With that she hurriedly opened the door and left the room.

Once outside, Norah leaned against the wall, a guilty expression on her face.

It wasn’t that she didn’t want to tell them, it was more that she was afraid they’d find out the man she liked didn’t feel the same way, and that would be incredibly embarrassing

Once she won Xavier over, she would proudly introduce him to everyone as soon as she could!

But when would she be able to catch up with him?

Norah unlocked her phone. Her conversation with Xavier remained stalled at the message she had sent to him without receiving a reply

As she stepped outside, her phone buzzed. Her expression soured when she saw the message was from Adrian, wishing her a happy Thanksgiving Day. Naráh put her phone in her pocket and headed towards the restaurant’s terrace,

in a bid to create a festive atmosphere, the hotel had hung up a number of fancy lanterns on the terrace. However, not far away, modern neon lights shimmered and glittered, creating a sharp contrast to the lanterns, give them an out-of-place appearance.

Norah walked up to the railing and glanced at the moon in the sky, and then took out her phone to send a message to Xavier, [Can you see the moon?] This time, Xavier replied quickly. [Yes]

Norah then replied, [Take a picture for me.]

Xavier sent her a photo, and as Norah opened it and looked it, she was momentarily was stunned

Her heart raced in her chest, and she immediately turned to look around. The terrace was adorned with various potted plants, and there were several other couples also enjoying the moon. She compared the angle in the photo with her surroundings and quickly started searching.

Finally, in a secluded corner, she spotted the tall man.

He was sitting in a wicker chair, engrossed in his phone, and the phone’s screen seemed to display their ongoing conversation.

Norah stared at the man’s back, her bright eyes shimmering with excitement. She couldn’t help but smile, her heart bursting with happiness.
