“Forget it then, I’ll cancel the order later, you can go now! The man held his umbrella and quickly walked into the hallway 

Emily froze for a moment, pulled back her hand holding the takeaway box, wiped the rainwater off her face, and had no choice but to turn back. 

She took two steps forward, when a gust of wind blew over her, her mind was in a daze, her body wobbled, and she finally fell to the ground 

The water on the ground splashed, and the takeaway box rolled a few rounds, scattering in the cold rain.. 

The person who ordered the takeaway hadn’t entered the hallway yet. Seeing Emily faint, he got scared and quickly ran over, shouting cautiously, “Hey, it’s just a takeaway order, no need to threaten me like that, right?

After shouting twice, Emily didn’t wake up, so he quickly took out his phone and called an ambulance. 

When Emily woke up, she was in the hospital, surrounded by white walls. The glare of the fluorescent lights made her feel dizzy 

“You’re awake?” 

A nurse came in and changed her IV bag. “How do you feel?” 

Emily’s voice was hoarse, “What happened to me?” 

“You’re really pushing it, young lady. Delivering takeout in the rain, and now you’re pregnant, you know? You can’t do this anymore!” The nurse warned her while changing her IV 

Emily listened with her head down, and then suddenly looked up. “What? Pregnant?” 

The nurse looked at her in surprise, “You didn’t know you were pregnant?” 

Emily was stunned, looking straight at the nurse, her astonishment gradually turning to panic and fear. 

Seeing her expression, the nurse frowned, “Really didn’t know? You’re not married yet, are you?” 

Emily shook her head blankly. 

The nurse’s face darkened, “You young girls, honestly! You should’ve taken precautions if you’re not married. Look at you now, I bet you and your boyfriend don’t even have the ability to raise a child This is just messing around!” 

Emily was too panicked to speak. 

“Hurry up and call your boyfriend over. If you want the baby, then discuss getting married soon. If you don’t want it, then get the procedure done as soon as possible. The bigger the pregnancy, the harder it is to have the procedure, and it’s not good for your own body either!” 

The nurse’s tone was harsh, and her eyes were a mix of disgust and sympathy when looking at Emily. “It’s almost daybreak. Get some more rest, and ring the bell if you need anything” 

With that, she left.
