Mariela ordered her favorite dishes and also ordered a glass of chilled beverage. 

When the drink was brought over, Jaime suddenly said, “Your period is coming soon, don’t drink anything cold.”

Mariela’s dishes were all ready. 

Jaime looked at the seafood on the table over there and frowned, “Aren’t you allergic to seafood? Why are you still ordering seafood?” 

Mariela paid no attention and enjoyed eating the shrimp that Lennon had peeled for her, dipping it in sauce. 

Mario coughed awkwardly and cautiously spoke up, “Jay, is it possible… I mean… Mariela wasn’t actually allergic to seafood. She used to avoid ordering seafood when eating with you because you were allergic to it.” 

Jaime heard these words and suddenly turned his head to look, “What did you say?” 

Mario repeated again, “Mariela wasn’t allergic to seafood, she used to be with you before, because you were allergic to seafood, that’s why she didn’t order any seafood.” 

“How did you know?” 

“I once met her having dinner with her colleagues, ordering a table full of seafood…”
