“Over a month? Isn’t that the time before we got engaged?” Lennon placed the peeled shrimp into Mariela’s bowl. “That’s so tough.” 

“Yeah, it was during the time before the engagement,” Mariela dipped her sauce. “It was a bit tough, but after receiving the victorious verdict, all the hardships were worth it.”
